What made the project difficult.
A tinplate lid introduced tooling, size and color constraints. Fully customized color becomes practical at around 100,000 sets, so the visual ambition had to be balanced with order rhythm and component economics.
Case 02 / European wine brand
A European wine brand needed a kraft paper can around a standard cylindrical bottle, with spot UV, foil and embossing supporting a premium position.
A tinplate lid introduced tooling, size and color constraints. Fully customized color becomes practical at around 100,000 sets, so the visual ambition had to be balanced with order rhythm and component economics.
A paper-led solution was developed around the bottle through one to two sampling rounds. The circular paper body adds cushioning and can recover from some impacts, while the structure stays close to the bottle shape.
